The team EF Education-EasyPost announced the contract extension of two experienced riders: Rui Costa for the 2025 season, and Michael Valgren until 2026. These two extensions are in addition to the arrival of Kasper Asgreen (Soudal Quick-Step), de Vincenzo Albanese (Arkea-B&B Hotels), Alex Baudin (Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale) or other Madis Mihkels (Intermarché-Wanty). The American team thus shows all its ambition for next season, after finishing 14th in the standings. UCI in 2024.

Solid seasons but without brilliance
This year, the two men had a solid season, if not any highlights. Michael Valgren (32 years old) participated in particular in Paris-Nice and at Girowhere he had three top 10 finishes, including second place in the 5th stage. In one-day races, he particularly distinguished himself on Across Flanderswhere he took 8th place and in the road race of Norwegian Championshipwhere he finished 4th. For his part, Rui Costa participated in the Tour of Switzerland and at Tour de Francewhere he did no better than 13th place. He nevertheless won the road race in June Portuguese Championshiphis only victory of the season.
