Before the big meeting of the weekend in cyclo-cross on Sunday, with the 2nd round of X2O Bathrooms Trophy in Lokeren, took place this SaturdayInternational Cyclo-Cross Rucphenin the Netherlands. And it's Spanish Felipe Orts which has established itself among Men. At the end of a very close race, the 2nd of the last European Championships beat the Dutchman Ryan Kamp and the Belgian Jens Adams. This is undoubtedly the greatest victory of Felipe Orts in career.

Laura Verdonschot retains her title
Among the Women, the suspense was less present, since Laura Verdonschot stood alone, far ahead of its main competitors. The 27-year-old Belgian beat four Dutch runners and was accompanied on the podium by the young Leonie Bentveld and his compatriot Aniek Van Alphen. With this success, Verdonschot brings his victory total to Rucphen to three, after having raised their arms in this event in 2017 and 2023.
