Ebony told Marine and Franck when she had “[ses] premiers haters” on social networks. “My cover is a clip, it’s lipsync. It had been pre-recorded. People made fun of me because in my AD I wanted to sing with a microphone but not plugged in because I find it stylish”she said before quoting the comments she received: “Yeah, your microphone isn’t connected, you’re making fun of us, you take us for idiots […] What you’re doing is rotten.” A situation that the candidate of the Star Academy knew how to manage at the time: “People are angry, we don’t care. In truth, I was happy with my reaction to the haters, it didn’t hurt me that much. And then, you will see the person’s account, you are in mode: ‘Why are you really opening your mouth?’“she said.

Ebony is not the only one to have faced a wave of hatred before her adventure at the Star Academy.
