Céline Dion and René Angélil were married for 22 years, until the death of the impresario, caused by throat cancer, separated them on January 14, 2016. Together, they had three children: their eldest, René-Charles is now 24 years old, while his little brothers, twins called Eddy and Nelson, are 14 years old. The couple’s three sons appear alongside their mother in a new photo, shared to pay tribute to their father.
Céline Dion honors the memory of René Angélil
This Tuesday marked the 9th anniversary of the death of René Angélil. The one who had three other children from previous marriages is always in the heads and hearts of those close to him, as Céline Dion showed by writing him a touching message. “René, we can’t believe it’s already been 9 years since you left. Not a day goes by without us feeling your presence, RC, Eddy, Nelson and me”declares the singer. The one who sang for the first time in public in years at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympic Games also made a beautiful declaration to her husband: “You were my greatest champion, my partner, and the one who always saw the best in me. I honor you and we will forever miss you my love… We love you.”
Celine Dion poses with her three sons
To accompany these tender words, Céline Dion chose a pretty family photo. Given the decoration made up of fir trees and red bows that we see in the background, it seems to have been taken at Christmas. The singer and her three sons pose together, seated on a bench. They all wear clothes in white, beige and light brown tones. The Quebec artist, René-Charles, Eddy and Nelson display pretty smiles, clearly happy to see each other again. A very beautiful portrait, which gives the opportunity to see that the twins now display a mustache for one, and a beard for the other.
