If he already had a serious look on his official 2017 portrait (below), this time he takes on an even more severe look.
In the official portrait of his second term, the president-elect, in close-up and dressed in a blue coat, has a more imposing look.

This photo is reminiscent of his criminal ID photo (mugshot) taken in 2023 when he was accused of trying to overturn the results of the 2020 election in Georgia.

A second official portrait, showing Donald Trump all smiles, was also shared later in 2017, an image which contrasts even more with the photo shared on Thursday.

He also dressed in a blue coat, he poses with his arms crossed, a thin smile on his lips.
