With a spin-off of “The Big Bang Theory” in the works, speculation is circulating about a possible return of Mayim Bialik in her role, six years after the end of the series.
A disappointment for the fans. Famous for her role as Amy Farrah Fowler in “The Big Bang Theory,” Mayim Bialik has spoken out about rumors regarding her participation in the potential spin-off in preparation for the famous series. “I have not been contacted. “I saw the ads like everyone else, and I think that’s where a lot of people got their information, myself included,” she told Us Weekly when promoting her participation in the The show Night Court on NBC, alongside Melissa Rauch, his former co-star.
“These characters were so iconic and so important to people. [Les créateurs] Chuck [Lorre] et Bill [Prady] have truly created a world of characters that people want to know and follow. I am therefore very flattered and I would be even more so if someone contacted me,” added the actress.
A popular role
Although she has yet to receive an official offer, Mayim Bialik said she is excited to reprise her role, confiding: “I love being known by that name and I love what it means for people. So for me, it would be a pleasure to be a part of it in one way or another. It was a really fun experience to be a part of. [lors de mon apparition avec Jim Parsons] in “Young Sheldon.” I also have the opportunity to interact with [les créateurs] Steven [Molaro] and Steve [Holland] and a lot of our writers and producers, so it’s a whole world to which I always feel very connected.
Broadcast between 2007 and 2019, “The Big Bang Theory” told the adventures of a group of scientists and their loved ones, played by Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch. In 12 seasons, the series won 10 Emmy Awards and spawned spin-offs like “Young Sheldon” and “Georgie and Mandy’s First Marriage.”
Warner Bros. Television is currently developing a new spin-off, which could be broadcast on the Max platform, if the project is selected. Brian Posehn, Lauren Lapkus and Kevin Sussman reprise their roles from the original series.
