“Oh my, that’s crazy!” One might believe that after seven years at the helm of It begins today, Faustine Bollaert has already heard it all. It must be said that in the France 2 program, the testimonies, each more improbable than the last, follow one another: from joyful stories to the most tragic dramas, the host never ceases to be surprised by the life journeys of his guests. This is what happened again this Monday, January 6, 2025, when Caroline came to share her terrible family situation on the set. The show, entitled “They shared the same man with one of their loved ones”, already sets the tone. In fact, her daughter is now in a relationship with her ex-partner.
When she meets this man ten years her junior, Caroline has just separated from the father of her first three children, with whom they no longer have contact. His new companion, then aged 19, became a very present and affectionate father-in-law, including to his 7-year-old daughter. Together, they lived happily for no less than 17 years, during which two other children were even born. But in 2018, their relationship gradually deteriorated.
At the time, Caroline’s partner became distant and regularly slept on the couch. “I felt that he was cheating on me,” she tells Faustine Bollaert.
