New controversy for Ye. The American rapper is at the heart of a video that has gone viral on social networks: Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband is clearly listening to one of his new songs, in which a sample of the song is integrated Sun sun by the French singer Pomme.
These images appear to have been taken without the rapper’s knowledge, as he turns around to ask the person filming to stop recording.
Kanye West is currently preparing his new album called Bully, the release date of which is not specified.
Pomme reacted on her Instagram account: “I do not know the source of the video and audio content circulating these days on social networks, but I have never given my agreement to the use of this sample for reasons that seem obvious to me, having profoundly disagreed with the political positions of this artist whom I have greatly admired in the past“.
Kanye West has increased his controversial positions in recent years, notably making anti-Semitic and racist comments.
The rapper, who once displayed his ambition to become president of the United States, publicly showed his support for Trump. He is also accused of sexual assault by model Jenn An during the filming of one of his music videos in 2010.
