Whitney Houston has never been forgotten. It was in 2012, at the age of 48, that she died of an overdose after many years of an immense career. Next to him was David Roberts, his bodyguard. Now aged 73, he is in the columns of Daily Mail that he agreed to share some confidences. Between 1988 and 1995, he worked for Whitney Houston, ensuring that everything went smoothly. He notably revealed that he had already thought about giving up everything. David Roberts was very attached to the singer and he had already imagined the possibility of sharing his life with her. “If you cross that line, you lose your objectivity and it becomes dangerous for the person you are protecting,” he first said. He then referred to the film The Bodyguard indicating that Frank Farmer had crossed this line with Rachel Marron. “It’s the end of him in his duties,” says David Roberts.
