Is Harry Potter the angel who actually united the hearts of Kate and William? Discarding the official version that William fell in love with Kate during a lingerie show, Laura Warshauer, a former student at the University of Saint Andrews at the same time as Kate and William, seems convinced of it. And tells a completely different story.
According to this American singer – Gigi Rowe – her stage name – William would have in fact set his sights on Kate a few months before the famous fashion show in March 2002. And this during another evening in a castle. “It was Harry Potter themed and there was an auction, for charity, to get a date. And Will spent 200 pounds (240 euros) on a date with Kate”. And according to Laura, Kate’s reaction would have been falsely relaxed to this opportunity.
Another point of connection between William and Kate mentioned by Laura Warshauer, the latter’s attitude towards him, before their romantic relationship began. During another evening, William is approached by a young girl. The prince remains polite, but clearly his interlocutor does not interest him. Kate then crosses the room to take William in her arms, allowing the latter to tell his interlocutor that he “had a girlfriend”. William would then have sent Kate a silent “thank you”. “I remember saying to myself that no one other than Kate could have done this at that moment,” says the American singer.
Need publicity or a real scoop? In any case, these new revelations are added to the others, always told by this artist, today better known for her university years with the Princess of Wales than for her music. Revelations all the more curious since after ten years of marriage and almost twenty years of relationship between the prince and Kate, and thousands of articles written about their meeting, no one had ever mentioned these anecdotes.
