Charles III: he makes a meaningful choice between Camilla and her brother Prince Andrew

It’s been some time since Prince Andrew tarnished his reputation following several scandals. He was implicated in the controversy and sex crimes linked to Jeffrey Epstein and has since had his royal titles stripped in 2022. The younger son of Queen Elizabeth II and his brother, King Charles III are thus not in phase.

Our colleagues at Le Parisien reported that the king has made a major decision in favor of his wife, Queen Consort Camilla Parker Bowles, and against his brother, Prince Andrew. This decision concerns the Royal Lodge, a
17th century manor house located in Windsor Forest, as Le Parisien wrote.

King Charles III favored his wife over his brother, Prince Andrew

As a result, after being stripped of his royal duties in 2022, Prince Andrew had also been
guest to leave the Royal Lodge. It is there that the prince has resided for around twenty years, and where he cohabits with his ex-wife, the Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson.

As an alternative, King Charles III offered him a move to Frogmore Cottage. This is the residence in which Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle lived before leaving for the United States. But that’s not all. Behind this decision is actually a future plan for Queen Consort Camilla Parker Bowles that the king himself put in place by ousting his brother from the Royal Lodge.

The Royal Lodge is now promised to Queen Camilla

Indeed, it is no longer Prince Andrew who will own the residence, but Queen Camilla. And this after King Charles III thought about his future. The Royal Lodge is planned as royal accommodation for the Queen Consort if the King were to die, as our colleagues explained.

With this choice, King Charles III thus preferred to favor his wife over his brother. Prince Andrew had been accused of sexual assault and rape of a minor by a young woman named Virginia Giuffre. She had said that she was 17 years old at the time of the alleged events. She would thus have been one of the minor victims exploited in connection with the sex trafficking carried out by Jeffrey Epstein and his Ghislaine Maxwell.
