Accompanied by her youngest daughter Joy (15 years old), Laeticia Hallyday took part in the big evening marking the 40th anniversary of Amnesia, the nightclub launched by her father André Boudou and managed by her brother Grégory. An event which Françoise Thibaut, Laeticia’s mother, also attended. On the other hand, Jade Hallyday (19 years old), the eldest of Laeticia and Johnny, seems to have missed this family meeting.

Still as active on her social networks, Johnny’s widow shared images of her meeting with the star DJ of the evening: the Frenchman Vladimir Cauchemar. It was then in the artist’s cabin that Laeticia Hallyday, her daughter and her mother enjoyed the evening, in front of the hundreds of customers gathered at the Amnesia.

After the exhibition, two films about Johnny

When she is not spending quality time with her family in the South of France, Laeticia Hallyday devotes herself to the mission she set for herself six years ago, following the death of her “man”: to keep his memory and musical legacy alive. After having personally invested herself in the exhibition that has just ended in Paris, she is now supporting the film project on the life of the Taulier.

“A film that lives up to the rocker and the man I loved madly, sometimes in pain, for twenty-three years,” she confided to Paris Match. A biopic directed by Cédric Jimenez, produced by Hugo Sélignac, and which will be carried by the actor Raphaël Quénard, a real favorite for Laeticia: “I was bowled over by his acting, his looks, his way of occupying space, of speaking, his spontaneity, his almost animal charisma… I told myself that if an actor could embody Johnny in the cinema, it was him.”

Not one, but two biopics

Johnny will be entitled to two biographical films since the project led by Jalil Lespert, ex-companion of Laeticia Hallyday, was also launched with Belgian actor Matthias Schoenaerts in the role of the rocker. Another biopic entitled “Phoenix”, filming of which should begin next September.

“The two films will be very different,” explains Laeticia Hallyday, “that of Jalil focuses on three years of Johnny’s career, from 1995 to 1998, from his descent into the hells of Las Vegas, during which he destroyed himself until to be damaged, upon his strong return to the Stade de France with, in the background, our meeting That of Cédric, whom I decided to support, will cover his entire life, with this rock’n’roll look and feel. powerful as he would have wanted…”
