Conor McGregor is not staying silent during the week of UFC 303 and is using his time off to reignite his feud with Khabib Nurmagomedov.
Conor McGregor was set to make his highly anticipated UFC return this weekend at UFC 303 in Las Vegas. But a toe injury suffered during training camp forced him to pull out of the fight against Michael Chandler, which is expected to be rescheduled for a later date. Despite not making his return to action, McGregor has continued to make headlines. He’s announced a video game appearance, sparked a feud with Chael Sonnen and rekindled old grudges.
The biggest rivalry of McGregor’s career was that between him and Khabib Nurmagomedov, who defeated him by submission at UFC 229. Tensions between the two have increased, but not diminished, since their clash in the octagon. The Irishman took the opportunity to lash out at Khabib and his team after a member of the Dagestani’s gym was implicated in recent attacks in Dagestan. This time, McGregor directly accused ‘The Eagle’ of wrongdoing.
Conor McGregor renews his personal attacks against Khabib Nurmagomedov
In a recent tweet, Conor McGregor accused Khabib Nurmagomedov of violent criminal activity.
“In the terrorist gym, when a tester showed up, they would take him hostage and randomly give him clean urine against the fighters they were trying to test.”, McGregor said. “ Everything will be known now. When it hits them, watch what happens. There’s a video of Khabib walking into a room full of people and he took a bat and threatened everyone there. Everything will come out. Mystic Mac.
McGregor didn’t hold back in a subsequent tweet.
“I fought that little bitch with a completely broken foot”McGregor tweeted. “I should have postponed my fight like I did this time. Why did I give that inbred little motherfucker any advantage. He shit himself on that bus and showed his true sissy heart. You raging spoiled b*tch. Now you’re f*cked! When you die I’m gonna celebrate!”
As of this writing, Nurmagomedov has not responded to McGregor’s tweets. Concerning him, there is no direct evidence, to date, of the accusations of vandalism made by McGregor.
