Phoebe Gates, the daughter of billionaire couple Bill and Melinda Gates, has made her relationship with Arthur Donald, Paul McCartney’s grandson, official by posting several photos with him during his graduation.
A star couple. In a photo diary dedicated to her graduation, published by Nylon magazine on June 21, Bill Gates’ daughter Phoebe Gates confirmed her relationship with the grandson of Beatles singer Paul McCartney, Arthur Donald.
“My boyfriend, Arthur, takes me back after the ceremony,” said the 25-year-old in the caption of a photo of her companion, carrying her on his back.
In another photo taken before the ceremony at Stanford University, where she earned a science degree in human biology in just three years, the Microsoft founder’s daughter posed with her partner, writing, “With Arthur, he’s housework well.”
Rumors in 2023
The lovers sparked romance rumors in October 2023, when she shared a photo of them smiling in front of the Eiffel Tower on Instagram, declaring “Paris filmed” in the caption. The duo also attended the premiere of “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans” in New York (United States), at the Museum of Modern Art, earlier this year. However, in an interview with Bustle last March, Phoebe refused to speak about the status of her relationship with the young man.
Arthur Donald, a 2021 graduate of Yale University with a major in history, is the eldest son of photographer Mary McCartney and her first husband, television producer Alistair Donald. He was rumored to have dated Ava, the daughter of actress Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, in 2018.
The new couple’s families are already closely related, as the young man’s aunt, famous fashion designer Stella McCartney, is a close friend of Phoebe Gates’ mother, Melissa Gates.
