Indira Ampiot remains positive after her defeat this weekend in the Miss Universe 2024 competition which took place in Mexico. The 20-year-old Guadeloupean, Miss France 2023, who finished at 20e place in this competition won by Miss Denmark, Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, said in a story posted on Instagram that she kept her head held high and a smile.
” Everything is fine. A little disappointed, it’s true, not to have been further than the top 30, but I tell myself that I was still classified,” she conceded on the social network. “It’s great, and in any case I’m still happy with my performance, with everything I did. The winner of the title of Miss Guadeloupe 2022 also showed confidence for the future, affirming that the “best is yet to come”, before thanking her community for its support. “I am very, very proud to have represented France in the Miss Universe election at the age of 20,” she declared. She then shared some images of her return flight and talked about her “travel” project with her mother, whom she was eager to see after a stopover in Paris, this Monday, November 18.
