Fires of Wrath Monday

Yesterday Monday October 18, as shown in this map below, there were numerous actions across the four corners of France, from Dunkirk to Montpellier and from Guingamp to Strasbourg. In the South-West, anger was particularly evident in Bordeaux, Périgueux and Charente-Maritime, often with “fires of anger” lit to launch the movement.

The prefectures targeted this Tuesday

This Tuesday morning, in Gironde, around thirty tractors converged at the call of the Rural Coordination of the Entre-Deux-Mers wine-growing area towards the prefecture of Bordeaux, access to which was protected by the forces of the order. The convoy passed through Pessac where manure was dumped in front of the Pessac town hall. The tractors are now in Bordeaux-Mériadeck, to be stationed in front of the prefecture. The movement is also being followed in Charente-Maritime, Dordogne, Lot-et-Garonne, Landes and Pyrénées-Atlantiques, where farmers also meet in front of the prefectures.
