A twin sister with great character! As they do every year as the summer holidays approach, Jacques and Gabriella of Monaco accompanied their father on the balcony of the Prince’s Palace, this Sunday, June 23, to attend the traditional Midsummer festivities. And if they seemed delighted to be there, it was especially their bickering that attracted everyone’s attention…
Once again, they were the stars of the show! As the summer holidays are fast approaching in Monaco, Jacques and Gabriella of Monaco made a remarkable appearance on the balcony of the Prince’s Palace, this Sunday, June 23, for the traditional Saint-Jean bonfire. Accompanied by their father, Prince Albert, the two children seemed delighted with this outing and this unusual spectacle.
Greeting the crowd from the top of the balcony, they had also dressed in their festive clothes for the occasion: dressed in a suit like his dad, the 9-year-old heir to the Monegasque throne was as elegant as his sister, who had she chose a pretty black blouse and a dark brown skirt, as well as a high braid for her hair.
Delighted to see them again, after their last appearances for a rugby match and for the passing of the Olympic flame, the Monegasques were however especially amused to see them bickering: in the many photos, we can indeed see little Jacques trying to speak to his sister, and this one, with her arms crossed and a pouting pout… completely ignore her!
No doubt upset by one of her brother’s behaviors, the little girl, whose strong character has been proven over all these years, then wore a more closed face, before finally finding her smile again. Probably seeing the fire grow before his eyes, a sight you don’t see every day!
