A childhood not always easy. Alexandre Villeret is the son of Irina Tarassov born in 1976. A few years later, he was adopted by Jacques Villeret, the new companion of the actress with whom she married in 1979. The interpreter of François Pignon in the Dinner for idiots always considered Alexander his true son and gave him an education that was sometimes severe, but above all fair. Today, the latter pays tribute to him by publishing the text of the famous film annotated by the actor's hands. Alexandre Villeret looks back on his father's fears
Jacques Villeret did everything so that Alexandre would not have the same fears as him, who was also raised by his stepfather. So, he did his best to educate him well, but sometimes let himself be dominated by his fears. “He gave me a classical education. I learned respect, to say 'hello', 'thank you', 'goodbye'. He was protective too, he was afraid of everything. So I wasn't really allowed to go out for fear of being kidnapped.“, he said. So, it was often with his father that Alexandre Villeret went out. “I accompanied him a lot to the theater, to rehearsals and performances. We lived according to our schedule. He worked a lot but he was very family-oriented. We spent weekends in our country house in Normandy. He liked to get away from it all and rest. We played tennis, we went fishing“, he confided.
Alexandre Villeret evokes the “demons“from his father
As he did not know his father, Jacques Villeret had a somewhat complicated past because he would have liked to know the one who gave him life. “There are still demons that inhabit it. We had a bit of the same story too… These things that perhaps built it“, began Alexandre, invited on the set of It starts today before adding: “He had a bit of the same story as me, who hadn't known his father… And so he had fantasized, I didn't at all because I had a father who was really good so I didn't need to to look elsewhere, perhaps he had that sadness”.
