Clearly, the royal family is more united than ever and that warms the heart. This Saturday, June 15, 2024, the very famous Trooping the Color parade took place in honor of the King’s birthday.

Prince William celebrates his father, the King

Every year, the entire royal family meets on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to greet the British. Moreover, Kate Middleton, suffering from cancer and currently in the middle of preventive chemotherapy treatment, even made a (long-awaited) reappearance in public. Something to delight the fans.

The festivities therefore continue this June 16, 2024, on the occasion of Father’s Day. For this event, Prince William wanted to demonstrate his love for his father, King Charles III, who is currently battling cancer. On Instagram, the Prince of Wales shared an adorable photo of himself, when he was just a baby, with his father. In the caption, he wrote: “Happy birthday, Pa.” An adorable photo that has been liked by more than 200,000 people.

King Charles III fights “a form of cancer”

It must be said that King Charles III is not going through a good period. On February 5, 2024, he announced in a press release that he was suffering from a “form of cancer”. This announcement also stated that “the king remains completely positive about his treatment and hopes to fully return to his public duties as soon as possible. He chose to share his diagnosis to avoid speculation and in the hope that it might help the public understand everyone around the world affected by cancer.” We hope these words will warm his heart. As of now, Prince Harry has not shared anything publicly regarding Father’s Day.

For his part, Prince William was also entitled to a beautiful statement from his children. On the Instagram account of the Princess and the Prince of Wales, a photo of William surrounded by his three children was shared. In the caption, we can read: “We love you dad. G,C,L”, initials referring to George, Charlotte and Louis. Adorable !
