Arcom has decided not to renew the TNT frequency of the C8 channel on which Cyril Hanouna officiates with his show Don't Touch My Post. This decision caused a lot of noise in the press and on social networks. Today it is a talk show columnist who speaks about the shutdown of Vincent Bolloré's channel and the PAF troublemaker's program. And the least we can say is that it’s cash!
The shutdown of C8 and TPMP is causing a lot of talk
After February 28, 2025, the C8 channel will no longer be broadcast on TNT. Unless the leaders of the Canal group to which the channel belongs go through with the process so that the French audiovisual policeman changes his mind or if Cyril Hanouna will actually file a complaint against the institution as he made known on his set during the media launch.
The announcement of the end of C8 and TPMP had caused a lot of talk both in the press and on social networks but also in the audiovisual sector. We remember that Thierry Ardissonformer host of the channel with his show Hello Earthlings, was delighted with this decision and did not hesitate to destroy Cyril Hanouna. But he is not the only one to react because it is now the turn of a columnist from the show to speak. Or rather a former columnist.
After Thierry Ardisson, this TPMP columnist tackles Hanouna
Guest on the France Bleu show In the Retro (which is scheduled to be broadcast this November 9), Enora Malagré addressed this issue. Now dedicated to theater, she appeared in the first issue of TPMP in 2010 at the time on France 4 then followed Cyril Hanouna on D8 which became C8. Eventually, she decided to leave the program in 2017 claiming that she “no longer find my place there“.
While the daily broadcast of C8 is radically different from that of France 4 or that of the beginning of D8, Enora Malagré does not regret having participated, she is proud of it. She also returns to the closure of the channel:
I can't be happy, I have friends who are going to find themselves unemployed. Obviously I disagree with a lot of things but on the other hand, I will never be happy if my friends are in trouble.
On the other hand, the former columnist of TPMP is not totally against this decision and does not hesitate to be cash :
At some point, we do stupid things, we pay the price. We cannot say anything, we cannot be radical in our comments, we cannot border on fascism. But for all that, these are episodes, it is not the whole channel or even all the time TPMP.
