Chicandier, whose real name is Laurent Regairaz, is a French comedian and actor, he was revealed on social networks in 2018 for his role as a bon vivant. The comedian returned to this period of his life this Monday, June 10 when he was a guest on the show Le Buzz TV from TV Magazine and Le Figaro, he made a rather unexpected revelation following his decision to quit alcohol.
The public let go of Chicandier
Chicandier has been working for several weeks as a columnist on M6 in Ophélie Meunier’s new show, The Big Week, broadcast every Saturday at the end of the afternoon, he was asked about the end of his web show. “ I drank more than usual. I drank a lot a lot“, he said.
This decision to quit alcohol had negative consequences on his career, as he revealed to Buzz TV journalists. “ I had the weakness to believe that I had to be sincere, so I was sincere in saying ‘I have health problems, I couldn’t do this anymore’, I didn’t want to be the guy who pretends to drink. I told my audience, ‘well listen, if you come to see me perform, I won’t be able to get drunk with you anymore because today it would clearly have a very, very complicated impact on my health’, I said it and I lost 80% of my audience right away » he reveals.
