Jennifer Aniston, a Californian childhood
Jennifer Aniston was born on February 11, 1969 into a family of actors. His mother, Nancy Dow, a small screen actress, married his father John Aniston in 1965. His real name Ioannis Antónios Anastasákis, the actor of Greek origin made a few appearances in American soap operas such as the series Days of our Lives And Gilmore Girls. During Jennifer Aniston’s childhood, the family lived in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles. In the San Fernando Valley, the property is established in a wealthy neighborhood popular with families and celebrities — the Olsen sisters were born there, Paris Hilton was the victim of a burglary there in 2008.
In 1975, the Aniston family posed for the lens of photographer and archivist Michael Ochs. Jennifer Aniston is nine years old, she is dressed for the occasion in denim shorts and a red and green floral shirt. The shot highlights their Californian home and its swimming pool, the interior being decorated with personal objects and trinkets. One painting evokes hotels in the south of France and their green-painted shutters, another skyline from Manhattan. Jennifer Aniston’s parents divorced when she was nine years old.

This is her cult interpretation of the character of Rachel Green in the series Friends which allowed him to acquire international notoriety. Between 1994 and 2004, Jennifer Aniston played on the set of the hit series alongside Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow and Matt LeBlanc; she notably won a Golden Globe and an Emmy for her performance. According to the magazine Les Échos, each actor in the gang would have received $22,000 per episode in 1994, and up to one million dollars for each shoot in 2004. In May 2021, a new episode called a “reunion” was broadcast on HBO Max to the delight of fans of the series.
