The 26th edition of NRJ Music Awards was broadcast on TF1 this Friday, November 1, and several awards were given to artists such as Slimane, Pierre Garnier, and Vitaa.
Tough competition among female artists
Remember that the latter competed against other singers, including Louane, Santa, Zaho de Sagazan, and Aya Nakamura in the French-speaking female artist of the year category. Although Vitaa took advantage of her speech to pay a nice tribute to Diam's, with whom she had notably collaborated on the song Nocturnal confessionsmany viewers were not satisfied with this result. Indeed, many believed that Aya Nakamura, who participated in the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games and marked the year with her numerous performances, deserved this award.
