Gabriel-Laurent: the famous masseur in turmoil after heavy accusations

Gabriel-Laurent, self-proclaimed expert in “sound therapy by touch“, has built a solid reputation in the celebrity world, explains The Parisian who is also at the origin of the revelations regarding the accusations. His sessions, often described as “sensory journeys“,
were particularly popular with customers seeking well-being and relaxation. But behind this facade of benevolence was there a completely different reality?

Two women, Sophie and Azra, filed a complaint against the masseur, recounting similar facts. Both had been attracted by the praise given to the practitioner and had requested his services. Throughout the sessions, the atmosphere would have gradually deterioratedevolving towards non-consensual sexual practices, according to their statements.

Heavy accusations against Gabriel-Laurent

The first complainant, Sophie (not her real name), filed a complaint in August 2022 for events that occurred during her sixth massage session with the suspect. During this session, she claims that Gabriel-Laurent would have penetrated her with his fingers without her consent, and this, despite his repeated refusals. Petrified, she would not have dared to react at the moment, even simulating an orgasm in the hope that the session would end more quickly.

The second complainant, Azra (not her real name), recounts an experience similar to that of Sophie. During his third session, Gabriel-Laurent would have offered him a “new creation“, a massage that he described as very sensual. During this session, she too would have found herself in a situation where the masseur would have gone far beyond the limits, caressing her inappropriately.

He had installed a camera in the massage room

Despite these accusations, Gabriel-Laurent firmly denies having had non-consensual relations with his clients. While in police custody, however, he admitted to installing a camera in the massage room, explaining that it was there for his protection after he was attacked.

However, this explanation raises several questions:
how many clients were filmed without their knowledge? What did Gabriel-Laurent do with it? How long did he keep them for? Etc. Questions that the investigation will have to answer.

For his lawyer, it is revenge

Gabriel-Laurent’s lawyer, Me Sylvie Noachovitch, assures that her client is innocent and thatThe accusations against him are unfounded.. She also evokes a sentimental revenge on the part of Sophie, who would have fallen in love with the masseur and could not have tolerated that the latter did not share the same feelings.

For the moment, the investigation continues and seeks to determine the number of possible victims. Gabriel-Laurent was placed under judicial supervisionthus preventing him from practicing his profession as a masseur. The question of cameras, as well as the number of clients who were filmed without their consent, should be a crucial part of the investigation.
