The owner of a restaurant in Issy-les-Moulineaux (Hauts-de-Seine) “is holed up” in his establishment this Saturday afternoon. It “holds a few employees”, indicates the Paris fire brigade (BSPP).

A large police force surrounds the restaurant a few dozen meters from the Paris ring road. Numerous police vehicles and armed, helmeted law enforcement officers blocked the streets and established a security perimeter in the neighborhood.
An incident is underway on rue Ernest Renan. The street is closed to traffic. Avoid the area.
