Dominique Lavanant did not attend the funeral of Michel Blanc this Thursday afternoon.

His friends from “Splendid”, Brigitte Macron, Rachida Dati and a thousand fans came to pay a final tribute to the “anxious clown” on Thursday in , during the funeral of actor Michel Blanc, who died suddenly at the age of 72.

Personalities were notably present: his friends from Splendid including Gérard Jugnot and Josiane Balasko, Brigitte Macron, the actors and directors Jean-Paul Rouve and Isabelle Mergault, who directed her first film, “Je vous très beau” (2005), with Michel Blanc in the title role, or the Minister of Culture Rachida Dati.

But according to TéléStar, Dominique Lavanant was largely absent from the ceremony. The 80-year-old actress had distanced herself from the Splendid troupe. On October 4, the actress confided to Télégramme about the death of Michel Blanc: “ I’m in shock. I’m lost. Michel wasn’t sick, even though he had a heart murmur since I’ve known him. Death scared him so much. I have rarely seen anyone feel such fear of death. But there, he died in the arms of his partner with whom he was emotionally happy and that’s already a lot.. »

And to add: “ He was a character with a physique that was not Delon, but he was so intelligent, full of humor, curious, and so demanding, both with others and with himself ».
