The sudden death of Michel Blanc, on the night of October 3 to 4, was a shock for everyone. 250 people, including many celebrities like Josiane Balasko, Thierry Lhermitte or Christian Clavier, Jean-Paul Rouve, Isabelle Mergault, or Dany Boon, were present at the funeral of the 72-year-old actor. These took place on October 10 at the Saint-Eustache church in Paris. Great friend of Michel Blanc, Marie-Anne Chazel was also present. A few days earlier, the 73-year-old actress announced that she had learned of the death of her sidekick in a very surprising way. She was in fact preparing to go on stage at Michodière when she received an SMS. This came from Josiane Balasko and she did not consult it before the show. So it was at the end of her performance that she learned the terrible news.
