Michael Jackson reportedly wanted to marry her when she was 11

In 2009, Michael Jackson died of an overdose of painkillers. The death of the pop star was experienced as a real earthquake by the sector, but especially by his family, his loved ones and his fans. Dr. Conrad Murray, his personal physician convicted of manslaughter in 2011, eventually wrote a book published in 2016 in which he speaks out.

Michael Jackson would have liked to marry Emma Watson

For four years, Dr. Conrad Murray was imprisoned after being convicted of the death of Michael Jackson. Released only halfway through his sentence, Murray then took the liberty of writing a book, “This Is It“, in which he provides a myriad of information regarding the pop star. The pop star’s former doctor shares his anecdotes, and notably returns to the accusations of pedophilia which tarnished the career and memory of Michael Jackson.

According to Murray, Michael Jackson was infatuated with Emma Watson. He notably states in the book that the singer even wanted to marry him. At the time, Emma Watson was 11 years old. He writes: “Michael told me he was almost as obsessed with British actress Emma Watson. He ‘fell in love with her’ when she starred in her first Harry Potter film in 2001, when she was just 11 years old. Emma was his second choice of wife if things didn’t work out with Harriet.”

This Harriet is his goddaughter, the daughter of Mark Lester, Oliver’s child star. According to Murray, Jackson even reportedly tried to visit Lester to discuss a potential marriage while he was in London, ahead of the This Is It concerts, a series of 50 shows planned at the O2 Arena, planned before the star’s death. Murray added: “This is the closest Michael came to answering my own questions about the pedophilia allegations that haunted him for years.”

I never challenged Michael. That’s because I instinctively knew that when it came to very sensitive topics, Michael could be as quick to shut up as he was to be direct. But one thing was clear: the way Michael talked about young girls was not an innocent crush, but an unrequited love.” he continues. However, there is no indication that Jackson ever followed through on any of these alleged infatuations.
