WE WERE THERE – The comedian gives his last show in front of an audience who came to see the phenomenon ofA little something extra. The self-deprecation is there but we are still looking for subtlety.
Music from American rapper Snoop Dogg invades the Édouard VII theater during the press general on Tuesday evening. Disability spokesperson
The thirty-year-old straightens his mustache and beard. He is grateful to the public for supporting his “baby”, A little something extra out in never. “Thank you for this film that you brought to life. » Nearly 11 million spectators saw it. « Since then, I have become the spokesperson for disability »laughs the comedian who advises in passing to go and see The Pampas, the first feature film by Antoine Chevrollier in which he also plays.
This evening, Artus decided to « beat the balls out of everything”. He hadn’t been back on stage for six years, since his play Duels in Davidéjonatown. He looks for a disabled spectator, finds him, greets him, then imitates one. “We can laugh at everything and with everyone,” he assures. He wants us to get used to living with a disability, and encourages people to frequent happy cafés that employ people with disabilities.
Artus intends to transmit a message of tolerance, acceptance of others, of difference. He begins with his own differences, talking about his weight, then that of rugby players and a fast he did to lose weight in a specialized center with his wife. The boy has a sense of self-deprecation, but he is not subtle. There are four middle fingers and an avalanche of scatological jokes.
“I’m ashamed sometimes, but not for long”
