Allan Lierhmann was indicted “pour extortion in an organized gang and association of criminals with a view to the commission of one or more crimes“ and placed in pre-trial detention, Me Hugues Vigier and the Rouen public prosecutor’s office told AFP this Friday, confirming information from Paris-Normandy.
According to the daily, the companion of Poupette Kenza had been “arrested at the airport on Monday September 23, 2024 as he returned to France to explain himself to the courts”then indicted and imprisoned on Thursday.
Poupette Kenza, her real name Cancer Benchrifwas indicted after the complaint, on February 23, 2024, of a couple who “is the subject of various surveillance (physical, installation of mini-camera near their home and GPS beacon placed on their vehicle) and was physically threatened on condition of handing over a sum of 200,000 euros”the public prosecutor explained in July.
“Resolve a financial dispute”
The investigation made it possible to find the alleged perpetrator who had been arrested during a meeting “planned for the delivery of the sum of money, while it was carrying a grenade“.
This man admitted to having contacted the victims to “settle a financial dispute between them and an influencer currently residing in Dubai”.
This alleged perpetrator was himself indicted for attempted extortion by an organized gang, possession of explosives and criminal conspiracy and placed in pre-trial detention.
The investigations “tend to demonstrate involvement” by Kenza Benchrif as “ordering party“ and the latter was arrested on July 4 near Rouen, according to the prosecution.
Also heard on a procedure aimed at deceptive business practices in her activities as an influencer, at the time she did not wish to answer the questions.
Her lawyers, Mourad Battikh and Jérémy Kalfon, affirmed in a press release that the young woman “denies having had the role attributed to him in this matter” et “on the contrary, she was robbed of a large sum of money.”
Aged 24, Poupette Kenza is followed by 1.1 million accounts on Instagram and has a total of 1.2 million subscribers on TikTok.
