Paul Belmondo is used to sharing happy moments from his life and professional career on his Instagram account. Recently, he revealed his arrival on the Paul Ricard circuit with his son Victor, for the Jules Bianchi karting marathon. He prefers not to say too much about his personal life, especially since his publicized separation from the mother of his three children, Luana. However, he shared a very intimate pain on September 13 by announcing the death of his mother, Elodie Constantin, mother of the first 3 children of the cinema legendSince then, the emotion remains as strong as ever.
This Friday, September 20, Jean-Paul Belmondo’s son unveiled a new image of his mother, a black and white photo where we see both of his parents. No words to accompany this tender image but heart emojis that say it all. Perhaps it is the moment of the funeral, which takes place in the family’s privacy, which rekindles this feeling of nostalgia even more?
It’s January 17th 1959 in Paris that Jean-Paul Belmondo said yes to Renée Constant, known as Élodie Constantin, who had been his partner for several years already. A dancer, she had fallen in love with the young Bébel at first sight and already had a first child with him, Patricia, born in 1953 and tragically deceased forty years later in the fire of her Parisian apartment. The couple are also parents of Florence, born in 1960 and who is the mother of the model Annabelle Belmondo, and finally of Paul, born in 1963. He was therefore the youngest of the Belmondo-Constantin couple and obviously had an unbreakable bond with his mother who had divorced from Professional in 1968.
Elodie Constantin and Jean-Paul Belmondo are now in heaven, far from the tensions they may have experienced in their life as a couple, as we can see with these old and collector’s photos that Paul Belmondo has just shared.
