His unfiltered words, so as not to write down his outrages, are one of his trademarks. Argentine President Javier Milei denounced Thursday in Davos, Switzerland, the “mental virus of woke ideology”, likening it to a “cancer”, and he defended his “dear friend” Elon Musk, accused by some for giving a “Nazi salute”.

The American billionaire has “been unfairly vilified by wokism in the last hours for an innocent gesture, which only means […] his gratitude to the people,” Javier Milei said in a speech to the World Economic Forum.

Javier Milei had already welcomed Wednesday in Davos “the golden age” that Donald Trump promises for the United States, “a light for the whole world”. The American president is due to speak by videoconference this Wednesday at the World Economic Forum after a marathon of signing decrees following his inauguration on January 20.
