A major computer outage is in progress at the Saint-Luc University Clinics, the establishment announced Tuesday evening in a press release. At this stage, there is no indication of an external cyberattack. Most activities planned for this Wednesday, January 22, 2025 will be canceled.
All medical and support services nevertheless remain operational, ensuring the care of hospitalized patients in complete safety, the hospital further specifies. This is made possible through the redundancy of IT systems and the implementation of manual procedures.
Activity will be greatly reduced this Wednesday, with the cancellation of the majority of planned appointments. Patients concerned are invited to consult the website (saintluc.be) to check if their appointment is maintained. Those whose consultation is canceled are asked not to come to the hospital and will be contacted later to set a new date
