With more than 40 years of experience in signage and visual communication, Remarq SA, with its 37 employees spread between Geneva and Vaud, announces a change in its shareholding and general management. The company, founded by Richard Mathys, is now under the management of his three sons: Sébastien, Yann and Matthieu Mathys. With this new team at its head, Remarq intends to continue to develop creative and sustainable projects, relying on innovative solutions and a strong environmental commitment, faithful to its history but resolutely focused on the future.
A family transmission
Remarq, whose excellence is based on recognized know-how, is thus beginning a new era under the general management of Sébastien Mathys, who succeeds Patrick Chalançon. Present in the company for 10 years, Sébastien, trained in both graphic design and business management, is part of a line of passion and innovation, putting his multiple skills at the service of Remarq.
Alongside Sébastien, Yann Mathys, graduate in industrial design from ECAL, and Matthieu Mathys, HES architect, form a trio united by strong family values and a common vision: to make Remarq an ever more innovative player committed to visual solutions of tomorrow.
“We grew up in the world of Remarq. Today, by taking over the reins of the company, we are continuing this adventure with the desire to preserve this family heritage while exploring new horizons,” declares Sébastien Mathys, new general manager.
Focus on local
Interviewed by Cominmag, Sébastien Mathys relies on this continuity to retain local players. “We will only be able to keep our production tool if agencies and brands continue to focus on proximity. » How does he see the year 2025? “It is increasingly difficult to have medium-term visibility but we have very interesting projects for the start of the year. »
