Eldi Nazifi (36) has been appointed by the board of directors as managing director of news aktuell (Suisse) SA as of January 1, 2025. The sales director with a federal diploma and an MBA has already joined the company in 2021 and has since been responsible for the distribution of the dpa subsidiary in Switzerland as Head of Sales. Previous director Eljub Ramic left the company in October 2024 at his own request. Since his departure, Nazifi has already taken on the tasks of interim leadership.
“In recent years, Eldi Nazifi has already proven his great know-how and his passion for sales themes in his role as Head of Sales. His expertise in the sale of digital products in the media and communication sector, combined with his management experience, are the best conditions to now take over the position of Managing Director,” says Petra Busch, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of news aktuell (Schweiz) AG and Managing Director of news aktuell GmbH. “We are convinced that Eldi Nazifi will not only ensure the current success of news aktuell in Switzerland, but will also provide new impulses and decisively drive development forward. Eldi Nazifi completed his sales training at GfK Switzerland and holds a federal sales manager diploma. In summer 2024 he obtained his MBA at the University of Lucerne. He gained experience in sales, notably as a field sales advisor at APG/SGA AG, which sells digital and analogue advertising space, as well as at the subsidiary APG/SGA Traffic. At the AZ Direct AG agency, which specializes in data-driven multi-channel marketing, Eldi Nazifi was responsible for the sale of clients’ digital products as Head of Digital Advertising. Before joining news aktuell, he led the establishment and development of the analog TP Advertising sales unit (Out of Home) at Livesystems AG, as Head of Sales Out of Home.
