Like every year, pension funds have published their annual pension payment schedule. The transfer dates for each month of the year are therefore already known. And some dates will be changed compared to the payments that took place this year. Here is the calendar to note for the coming year.
In 2025, monthly transfers from the general retirement insurance scheme will continue to take place on the 9th of each month, the payment corresponding to the pension due for the previous month. Example: the next transfer for the month of January will correspond to the retirement pension for the month of December. Due to this delay, the January payment will therefore not be increased, despite a pension increase of 2.2% planned for January 1. Retirees from the scheme will therefore have to wait for the transfer in February corresponding to the pension in January to see the new monthly amount of their pension appear in their bank account.
The nearly 14 million pensioners of the Agirc-Arrco supplementary scheme can also already know the transfer dates of their retirement pension, indicated in the table below. Unlike general system pensions, retirement payment for a given month occurs at the very beginning of that same month, without a delay. Example: the Agirc-Arrco pension for the month of January is paid from Thursday January 2, 2025.
The table below presents the payment dates for pensions paid by the Retirement Insurance and Agirc-Arrco schemes in 2025. Many of them are modified compared to those applied in 2024. In fact, the transfer of a retirement pension cannot take place on a weekend or on a public holiday. Its payment can therefore be shifted depending on changes in dates from one year to the next.

Please note: if you depend on the Carsat d'Alsace-Moselle, the above calendar does not apply to your basic pension. The latter is paid to you on the 1st day of the month following the monthly payment concerned (or on the first working day following or preceding this date if this day falls on a weekend or public holiday).
Last clarification: the pension transfer can sometimes appear in the beneficiaries' bank account one or more days later than the days indicated in the calendar above. A delay due to the bank processing time of the transaction.
