Last June, the Suzuki Vitara received a comprehensive update. The restyling mainly concerned the exterior, but the interior also underwent substantial changes. The equipment of the Japanese SUV has been enriched and made more modern, while retaining the brand’s philosophy for one of the most rational and complete models in its segment.
Suzuki Vitara, the dashboard
The Vitara’s dashboard is unadorned and has rather simple lines. The main new feature of the facelift is the 9-inch central infotainment screen, with the system featuring new graphics and wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay et Android.
Plus, with the corresponding Suzuki app you can keep an eye on the car directly from your smartphone (subscription is free for the first three years after purchasing a Vitara) and receive real-time notifications in case of lights on and malfunctions.
The analogue dashboard is confirmed, with a small screen in the central section displaying the main information about the car. Next to the gear lever (6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic, depending on version) is a handle for selecting driving modes.

On the Suzuki, we mainly find hard coverings, even if certain elements are nicely worked, such as the plastics of the dashboard and door panels. The leather and cloth seats are comfortable and welcoming. Overall, the Vitara is characterized by its solidity and robustness.

Despite its reduced dimensions (4.19 m long), the Vitara comfortably accommodates four adults, the fifth being a little more sacrificed in the middle of the rear sofa.

The minimum trunk volume is 362 liters, which increases to 1,119 liters when the seats are folded. These figures relate exclusively to the mild hybrid models, as on the full hybrid models the capacity drops to 289 liters and 1,046 liters respectively, due to the electric powertrain components.
