Ranked eighth in the global ranking of the climate performance index (CCPI 2025) unveiled during COP29 in Baku, Morocco reaffirms its leadership in climate action by hosting a major event which should redefine the challenges of sustainable mobility on a regional scale.
In the context of the new NDC 3.0 ambition cycle launched during COP29, the Green Impact Expo & Summit 2025, which will be held at the Anfa Park space in Casablanca from February 11 to 13, 2025, is positioned not only as a space for exchanges between public and private actors, but also as a catalyst for change for Africa and for the entire region, promoting a framework conducive to innovation, the development of competitive solutions for businesses, and the adoption of good practices.
Placed under the aegis of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development and the Ministry of Transport and Logistics, this event embodies the national commitment in favor of an accelerated transition to greener and more inclusive mobility. The Green Impact Expo & Summit aims to go beyond simple theoretical discussions, by translating the major global objectives into concrete solutions and actions, both for companies, which will find a space to increase their competitiveness through access to new markets, technologies and expertise, only for citizens.
Regulatory, financial, technical, technological and digitalization levers will be at the center of the debates. Particular emphasis will be placed on incentives for innovation to improve the resilience and performance of economic actors, as well as on monitoring and networking tools intended to create an ecosystem of actors committed over the long term. This approach will ensure continuity beyond the event and support the progressive adoption of sustainable solutions.
This major event is distinguished by its collaborative approach, bringing together key players from the public, private, civil society, academic and tech sectors. The presence of partners such as the FTL-CGEM, initiator of this event, and the contribution of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE) demonstrate the importance of such synergy. The establishment of a voluntary cooperation framework marks a decisive step towards the creation of a lasting dynamic, reinforced by the possible deployment of information sharing tools and good practices, in order to support the transition to sustainable mobility.
On the international level, the event is gaining momentum by consecrating France as a country of honor, reflecting the solidity of the historical ties uniting the two countries and their common desire to move forward together towards an ambitious sustainable transition. Alongside other leading players, such as the United Arab Emirates, Germany, Canada and China, this international configuration gives a new dimension to the summit.
Sweden, moreover, will benefit from a dedicated space, promoting its innovative solutions. Deeply anchored in Africa, this ecosystem linked to the most advanced countries will become a hub of exchange and cooperation, conducive to strengthening the skills and competitiveness of companies engaged in the decarbonization of transport.
The Economic, Social and Environmental Council (CESE), as an emanation of organized civil society, actively contributes to the definition of the scientific program, guaranteeing an inclusive approach aligned with societal aspirations. All of these provisions aim to make the Green Impact Expo & Summit 2025 an unmissable event to support, in a concrete and sustainable way, the transition towards greener, more resilient and more competitive mobility.
