Canada Day: Here are the businesses open on July 1, 2024
- Convenience stores, grocery stores and small and large food establishments
- Pharmacies
- Branches of the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) except those in a shopping center
- The Botanical Garden, the Biodome, the Insectarium, the Planetarium and the Biosphere
- The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
- Collection services in Montreal (household waste, bulky waste, recyclable materials, food waste, green waste and dead leaves) will be maintained
- Montreal Ecocentres
- Public transport will operate according to the public holiday schedule
Canada Day: here are the businesses closed on July 1, 2024
- Commercial establishments (shops, boutiques, points of sale, markets and others)
- SAQ branches located in a shopping center
- All branches of the Société québécoise du cannabis (SQDC)
- Canada Post offices
- Banks and cash registers
- Municipal offices
- Municipal libraries
- The municipal court, only the appearances of detained persons are maintained
- Government service points, including the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec (SAAQ)
