This time, it would be a defect in the speed controller which would cause a problem with the accelerator pedal and increase the risk of an accident, reported the American National Highway Traffic Safety Administration ( NHTSA).

In total, 2,431 Cybertrucks manufactured between November 6, 2023 and July 30, 2024 are affected by this recall.

Letters to notify owners of these vehicles should be sent by Tesla by January 4, it was specified.

This is Tesla’s sixth Cybertruck recall, and only since the start of the year. In total, the company recalled 57,332 Cybertrucks, whether for technical problems, for checks or repairs, an average of 172 vehicles per day since January 1.
