Recall of milk bottles sold in all Leclerc and Carrefour stores

Milk bottles sold across the country are being recalled for leaking and “organoleptic” defects. They were sold in Leclerc and Carrefour stores.

Bottles of milk sold individually, but also in packs of six or eight, in Leclerc and Carrefour stores, are subject to a recall. The batches concerned have a packaging or sealing defect and the milk contained in the bottles may have spoiled.

• Organic Grandlait 1 L

Packaged in packs of eight bottles, organic semi-skimmed Grandlait milk was sold in all Leclerc stores across the country. The reference concerned is 3533630098903, whose batch number is 24245M. Its expiration date is January 29, 2025.

• Easy-to-digest organic milk Carrefour

Carrefour is recalling its easy-to-digest organic milk sold individually in one-liter bottles, the reference number 3560071510497 and the batch number M24238. Packs of six carrying the reference 3560071510503 and lot number M24238 are also affected. The two products, whose minimum durability date is set for January 22, 2025, were sold in all Carrefour stores in the country between September 6 and November 8.

What should I do if I am in possession of one of the products?

If you have purchased one of the two Carrefour milks, you are invited to return them to the store to obtain a refund for your product. It is also not recommended to consume them, as you run the risk of stomach aches.

“These products were manufactured and/or stored in conditions that do not provide satisfactory health guarantees. These products are therefore likely to present a danger to the health of consumers,” explain the recall sheets.

Concerning Grandlait milk, consumers are also invited to return it to the point of sale in order to obtain “compensation in the form of a reduction voucher”.

The end of the three recalls is set for January 8. It is possible to call Grandlait customer service at 0969320992 and Carrefour customer service at 0805908070.
