The 25 jurors of the AM-AM (Auto and Motorcycle Media Association) met for 48 hours in the Paris region to reward the best electric, hybrid and plug-in hybrid automobiles presented, launched or marketed during the year 2023.

From the mini city car to the large SUV, no less than 21 different models were presented in the competition this year. The opportunity for the journalists who are members of the jury to try or retry these vehicles.

A precise assessment

To do this, each vehicle was evaluated in its preferred environment.

Thus and for example, family vehicles designed for long-distance travel were confronted with routes mainly made up of national, departmental and expressways, but integrating urban and peri-urban developments, during which the jurors were able to deepen their knowledge of the vehicle. .

Before its final evaluation by the jurors, each vehicle will have been tested over 400 to 500 kilometers representative of its average use.

Electrification at the heart of the trophies

“The electrification of ranges represents an unprecedented challenge for automobile manufacturers,” declared Nicolas Heidet, journalist and President of AM-AM.

“For 3 years now, the AM-AM eTrophées have become an essential event for the French media. In 48 hours, the jury made up of 25 journalists can test more than 20 electric and hybrid vehicles and rate them, for an award of eTrophies from the evening of the 2nd day of testing.
