1st quarter 2023:

– SMNF:

– Activity would have seen a decline according to 52% of bosses and an increase according to 29%.

– The sector’s service capacity utilization rate (TUC) would have stood at 68%.

– The sector’s order books are said to be at a normal level by 73% of bosses.

– Employment would have seen an increase according to 35% of business leaders, and a decrease according to 18%.

– Wholesale :

– Sales on the local market would have experienced stability according to 47%, and a decline according to 29% of wholesalers.

– The observed trend in sales prices would have shown stability, according to 62% of business leaders and a decline according to 21% of them.

2nd quarter 2024:

– SMNF:

– The expectations of business leaders reveal an increase in overall activity, according to 45% of them and a decrease according to 15%.

– 53% of business leaders expect stability in demand.

– 29% of business leaders anticipate an increase in the number of employees.

– Wholesale :

– The expectations of 67% of wholesalers show stability in the overall sales volume and an increase according to 20% of them.

– Planned orders would be at a normal level according to 81% of business leaders.

– Employment would experience stable numbers according to 76% of wholesalers, and an increase according to 17%.
