The Montreal-Trudeau International Airport welcomed 6.6 million travelers during the summer, a jump of 3.7% compared to the same period last year.

ADM Aéroports de Montréal published its third quarter financial results on Monday, accompanied by data on passenger traffic.
The airport authority reported that the transborder (U.S.) and international sectors recorded increases of 11.6% and 4.2%, respectively, for the months of July, August and September compared to a year ago.
For its part, the domestic sector experienced a decline of 2% compared to the summer season of 2023.
“It has been a busy summer at YUL Montréal-Trudeau Airport, with continued strong growth throughout the quarter and a record number of passengers,” said ADM President and CEO Yves Beauchamp in a press release.
As for the financial results, ADM posted revenues up 4.9% to 265.4 million, while surplus fell 8.5% to almost 83 million .
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization were 146.6 million, compared to 150.8 million a year ago.
ADM indicates that its net debt amounted to 2.11 billion as of September 30, compared to 2.16 billion as of December 31, 2023.
