Videotron invests $500,000 in housing for seniors

The telecommunications company Videotron will inject half a million dollars to build social housing for vulnerable seniors across Quebec.

According to the announcement made Wednesday by the President and CEO of Quebecor, Pierre Karl Péladeau, six residences will benefit from this contribution. These are located in Montreal, Lévis, Longueuil, Terrebonne, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Granby.

“We come to recognize the essential and essential contribution of those who have shaped Quebec for decades. If we have received so much from them, well, today we must know how to give to them as well,” declared the businessman.

Of this amount, $300,000 will be granted in cash, and $200,000 will be used to install telecommunications services.

This Videotron initiative is part of the vast Mission Unitaînés project, which aims to build 10 buildings of 100 housing units in 10 cities in Quebec.
