New fear for Boeing passengers. Friday May 31, 2024, a United Airlines plane found itself in an unfortunate position when landing at Zurich airport (Switzerland). And for good reason: the plane started bouncing on the runway and pitching in a worrying manner, which led the pilots to try their luck again, reports The Parisian .

In total, the passengers of the Boeing 767 held their breath for around fifteen seconds before the aircraft flew into the air again, as shown in a video published on YouTube and relayed by our colleagues at Figaro .

A second successful attempt

The images are impressive: we can see the plane pitch up before returning to a normal trajectory at the end of the runway, despite rather favorable weather conditions. In difficulty, the pilots chose to go around again to take off again.

A choice which paid off since the second landing attempt took place without incident. Probably relieved, the passengers on this flight departing from Washington DC (United States) were then able to disembark the plane safely. The airline has not commented on this event.
