LBoeing’s black streak continues. At Zurich airport, in Switzerland, Friday May 31, a United Airlines Boeing 767 bounced on the ground as it landed before taking off in an emergency, reports The Parisian Sunday June 2. The flight originated from Washington DC. It was when the wheels touched the landing strip that the plane began to pitch before abruptly rising up.

The incident lasted around fifteen seconds, after which the usual trajectory was returned. But it was not enough for the pilots who chose to take off again. After a second try, the plane finally landed.

“We will be landing momentarily.”

The man, an aviation enthusiast, who captured and broadcast the scene on Youtube believes that “the spoilers were not deployed or were deployed too late, which explains why the plane bounced after the landing and found himself with very tilted wings. The weather conditions, which, when bad, can explain this type of incident, were good at the time of this landing. Neither the airport nor the airline has commented.
