On this first day of the Motor Show, Porte de in Paris, the diamond brand unveiled its electric Renault 4. For the occasion, the French manufacturer has decided to highlight four French start-ups that are pioneers in carbon-free mobility. Aura Aero is one of them.

Launched in 1961, the Renault 4 is getting a second lease of life. On the occasion of the Paris Motor Show which is being held this week in Paris, the diamond brand has just unveiled its new 100% electric R4. Grille, lights and rear window, bottom of doors… the shapes of this new version are reminiscent of those of the original model with, however, a good dose of modernity. Under the hood, the Renault 4 E-Tech is offered with two electric engines to choose from (110 kW motor and 52 kWh battery / 90 kW motor and 40 kWh battery). For its launch, the French manufacturer has therefore decided to highlight four French start-ups pioneers in low-carbon mobility. Among them, the aircraft manufacturer Aura Aero.

Throughout the duration of the show, its Integral E electric two-seater aircraft is on display on the “4 MOVEMENTS” stand in hall 5 of the Porte de Versailles exhibition center. The device has, for the occasion, been customized in the colors of the new R4 and renamed R4-Integral E. “This presentation foreshadows a fruitful collaboration to come, and we are delighted to share our vision of the mobility of the future with a world leaders in the automobile industry,” declared Jérémy Caussade, president of Aura Aero. It is still too early to go into details, but after EDF, a new partnership is being studied with Renault.

1is vol imminent

The Integral E, Aura Aero’s 100% electric two-seater aircraft, is built with noble and sustainable materials (wood and wood-carbon). The device is intended for training, leisure and aerobatics. Presented last February at Toulouse-Francazal airport, where the aircraft manufacturer’s headquarters are located, the aircraft is equipped with the ENGINeUS engine developed by Safran.

Powered by 215 kg of batteries, it develops a power of 150 kW and offers a flight autonomy of one hour. Its first flight is expected by the end of the month. The device, whose entry into service is announced for 2027, has to date several dozen firm orders.
