Morocco, through its players and professionals in the fruit and vegetable sector, once again marks its presence at the “Fruit Attraction” international exhibition in Madrid. This event, which has become an essential platform for the global agricultural sector, takes place from October 8 to 10, 2024 and brings together operators from more than 140 countries.

For the sixth consecutive year, the Kingdom is participating in this renowned fair, organized by the Madrid Fair in collaboration with the Spanish Federation of Associations of Fruit and Vegetable Producers-Exporters. During the inauguration ceremony, Luis Planas, Spanish Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, highlighted the growing importance of this event for global agricultural trade.

The Moroccan pavilion, orchestrated by Morocco Foodex, covers an area of ​​600m². It brings together around thirty exporters from different regions of the country, who came to exhibit a vast range of fresh products and highlight the richness and diversity of the Moroccan exportable offer. This Moroccan participation aims not only to consolidate existing commercial relations, but also to explore new economic opportunities with international buyers and partners.

El Mehdi El Alami, director of promotion and development at Morocco Foodex, declared that this event allows Moroccan exporters to present their know-how and assert Morocco’s competitiveness in the agricultural products sector. The pavilion highlights the quality of Moroccan products, while emphasizing the innovation and diversity that characterize the national offer.

In addition to agricultural companies, the Tanger Med port complex is also participating in the event, with a stand dedicated to its port and logistics offering. It introduces importers and exporters to the state-of-the-art infrastructure available to facilitate the transport and distribution of fresh produce on a global scale.

The “Fruit Attraction” show, which attracts more than 100,000 visitors and 2,140 exhibitors each year, is recognized as one of the major events for players in the fruit and vegetable sector in the Mediterranean basin and beyond. It provides an ideal platform for planning export and import campaigns, focusing on innovation, quality and diversity of the products presented.
