After presenting the R17 concept and launching the Renault 5 Electric, the French manufacturer reveals some details of the future Renault 4 E-Tech Electric.

Neo-retro design for the new Renault 4 E-Tech Electric

The electric R4, expected for 2025, modernizes the iconic 4L with a bright grille, lights LEDLED circulars and a toittoit canvas opening. These elements combine retro design and modern technology to mark the revival of an icon.

The images also reveal direct references to its predecessor, such as the famous taillights in the shape of gélulegélule and the windowwindow lateral trapezoid above the rear wheel. THE spoilerspoiler aerodynamic and sculpted lines add a contemporary touch while respecting the original spirit of the 4L.

For the moment, no technical characteristics have been revealed, neither its autonomy nor its power, but we can assume that Renault will draw from its catalog. Finally, the electric R5 has a fairly similar size, it could share its battery and its engines.

Practicality and versatility always there

Measuring 4.14 meters long, this electric Renault 4 retains the qualities of versatility which made the success of the original model. Manufactured in , , on the AmpR Small platform, it combines generous interior space and agility, while being fully electric. It thus completes Renault’s offering in the B segment alongside the Renault 5 Electric (3.92 meters).

The manufacturer offers exclusivity to its customers via the “R4 R Pass”, a skip-the-line option allowing you to pre-order the vehicle before the official opening of orders. Holders of this pass will be able to benefit from advantages, such as a miniature of the carcar and invitations to dedicated events. With these advantages, the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric is already shaping up to be a key model for Renault, which intends to revive the soul of the 4L while reinventing it for today’s needs.
